Paper Bag Workshop

Learn. Earn. Empower. The Paper Bag Workshop Story

As part of our women empowerment initiative, we conducted a Paper Bag Making Workshop in a village in Gurgaon. Over 60 women and girls participated, where they were trained to create eco-friendly paper bags from home. The aim was to provide them with a sustainable skill that could be used to generate income without stepping out of their homes. After the training, the handmade bags were also marketed and sold to ensure they received financial benefit and motivation.

This initiative had a significant impact on the lives of over 60 women and girls in the village. By learning the skill of paper bag making, they gained an opportunity to work from home and contribute to their household income. The sale of their handmade bags not only provided immediate financial support but also boosted their confidence and sense of independence. Additionally, the workshop encouraged the use of eco-friendly alternatives, promoting environmental awareness within the community. Overall, the program empowered women through skill development, sustainability, and self-reliance.
